●Seventy percent of all electronic bank card transactions such as debit, gift and many
others in the United States are processed in Georgia.
●There is an increase in the demand for workers in the financial technology(FinTech)
industry.
●In 2020 there were 5000 openings in the FinTech industry.
●The job growth availability is expected to be 2000 jobs a year for the next five to ten
years.
The Taylor School High School is exploring the possibility of affording the students an opportunity to learn more about the financial industry that moves money by implementing a new pathway named FinTech.
This week our current 8th and 9th graders will be participating in a survey to explore the interest in financial technology.
