Since my post on November 16, 2020, we have had 4 students and 1 staff member test positive. I have provided the summary in the link below to help capture what has happened in terms of COVID-19 in our District. The weekly summary is based on the information that I have at this time.

Parents and guardians, please continue to monitor your children at home. Staff members should also be monitoring themselves as well. We have the following documents to help with your decision making:

Parents, Students, and Staff,

It has become increasingly apparent that we are dealing with a large number of students and staff members that are out of school due to sickness or quarantine. For the health and well-being of our students and staff members, we have made the difficult decision to close our schools on November 19th and November 20th. We will also implement distance learning for the in-school students November 30th–December 4th. Please know that we will make efforts to disinfect our school buildings and buses. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. I hope everyone will enjoy Thanksgiving break, and we look forward to getting back to school virtually on November 30th and in-person December 7th.

Respectfully,

Jennifer Albritton
