Please join us in congratulating Ms. Jessica Williams on being named the Teacher of the Year for the Taylor County School District. Ms. Williams is a native of Taylor County. She graduated in 2003 with honors from Taylor County High School. After graduating high school, she attended Fort Valley State University where she received her Bachelor's (2007) and Master's Degree (2010). In May of 2020, Ms. Williams completed her Specialist in Middle Grades Education.
Ms. Williams currently teaches her favorite subject - algebra math - to our 8th grade middle grade students. She also coaches track and field at the high school. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her church and working with youth groups through her Delta Sigma Theta Sorority organization.
Congratulations to Ms. Williams. We are extremely happy and proud of her!
