January 22, 2025
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to concerns about transporting students safely, the Taylor County School District will be closed on January 23, 2025. For students in grades 6-12, there will be virtual school assignments. Ms. McCrary and Mrs. Parks will communicate further information concerning these assignments.
We still plan to have the public hearing related to the board’s intention to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption at the board office at 10:00 a.m.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Albritton
Superintendent
