The Taylor County School System has excelled in its 4-year cohort graduation rate for the year 2025. The Taylor County School System’s 4-year cohort graduation rate for the year 2025 is 95.35% and exceeds the state cohort graduation rate of 87.2%. Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff for the teamwork that produced this accomplishment.

We will have Dress Up Days for Attendance Awareness next week. Contests will be held throughout the week for attendance and participation in the dress-up days.

Our students had lots of fun today during our Flex Time. Students chose their clubs and had their first session today! Our clubs are: Cosmetology, Fishing, Drones, Photography, Drama, Jewelry Making, Board Games, Art, Agriculture, Anime, Coding, Cooking, and Books.





The scheduled intruder drill at Taylor County 3-12 School has been completed safely. We appreciate your support in keeping our students safe.

Update for the 2025-26 School Year: Students at TCMS will not be allowed to use cell phones during the school day.

Muffins with Moms was held on Friday, May 9th. Thanks to all attendees.






Our 8th graders had the opportunity to visit the Be Pro Be Proud Trailer to learn about skilled trade professions. They participated in simulations in the following areas: healthcare, agriculture, heavy equipment operation, welding, aviation, construction, and commercial truck driving.
