Please note that students will be allowed to go outside for the eclipse in the middle of 4th block tomorrow. Please bring a towel or blanket if you wish to watch the eclipse outside. We will provide the glasses.
On behalf of the Taylor County Board of Education and the faculty and staff of the Taylor County School System, we offer our condolences to the family of Mr. Ronald S. Harris. Our hearts are saddened by the news of his passing. While Mr. Harris held other positions in the school system, his time as a school board member is the most well-known. He served as a school board member for 28 years. We are grateful for his dedication to public education and service to the students of Taylor County for so many years. In his memory, we will be placing a wreath on the door of the central office. He will be greatly missed.

Today's track meet and baseball games have been cancelled because of weather.
Congratulations to the JROTC Drill Team for placing 2nd in Color Guard at the Area 2 Championship, advancing them to the State Competition.
