Taylor County Schools will have an early release for students on Monday, October 13, 2025. Bus students and car riders will be dismissed at the following times:
Taylor County Primary School – 12:30 p.m.
Taylor County Elementary – 12:40 p.m.
Taylor County Middle and High Schools – 12:45 p.m.

We hope you will take this opportunity to support our high school softball team inthe first round of the State Softball Playoffs beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Taylor County Recreation Department. Go Vikings!

The Taylor County School System’s 4-year cohort graduation rate for the year 2025 is 95.35% and exceeds the state cohort graduation rate of 87.2%. Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff for the teamwork that produced this accomplishment.
