March News

Spring Picture Day is March 14, 2025! We will be taking Class Group Pictures, and students will also have an opportunity for individual pictures. Below is the direct link to preorder student’s pictures (we will also send home a paper order form Monday, March 10, 2025.

ONLY students with a preordered individual package will be photographed. This includes online orders and paper orders turned into the photographer on the day of pictures. Please note that online orders must be submitted by 4pm on Thursday, March 13th. We will be closing the link at 4pm to prepare a report of those who have placed orders online for you and our photographers.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to concerns about transporting students safely, the Taylor County School District will be closed on January 23, 2025. For students in grades 6-12, there will be virtual school assignments. Ms. McCrary and Mrs. Parks will communicate further information concerning these assignments.
We still plan to have the public hearing related to the board’s intention to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption at the board office at 10:00 a.m.

Due to concerns about the weather and the impact of transporting students safely, the Taylor County School District will be closed on January 21, 2025. For students in grades 6-12, there will be virtual school assignments. Ms. McCrary and Mrs. Parks will communicate further information concerning these assignments.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strive to make the best decisions possible for our school district. We will continue to monitor the weather for decisions about school on January 22, 2025. A decision regarding school on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 will be communicated by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Each year, Chattahoochee-Flint RESA recognizes outstanding individuals in each community who go above and beyond the norm to assist and promote local schools and other educational agencies.
